Hello, I’m an American industrial designer from Los Angeles currently interning with Todd Bracher Studio in New York, as well as finishing my studies at ArtCenter College of Design.
I design thoughtful products and experiences for real world use or generative conversation. Being an industrial designer invites pragmatism, but I do believe in the power of discourse, where unachieved ideas can open doors for the future. My current exploration of work is in expanding the boundaries of traditional design processes to develop concepts and bring them to reality.
Growing up in the center of Los Angeles, I had the privilege of being around great diversity. This fueled my natural fascination of people, our differences and our similarities. Los Angeles is a culturally rich city but unlike other cultural cities we have an absence of older institutions guiding decisions. Here there is space for freedom and individuality, resulting in a unified collage of creativity rather than establishments.
My working style is a reflection of the diversity I’ve grown up with, the creative freedom of my horizontal city, and the rigor I’ve developed through design education. These things make me an active designer; my explorations are not limited to one part of any process, often taking risks throughout to achieve goals.
